DPN WEB EXCLUSIVE: Pittman brand series 6000 22mm brush-commutated iron-core dc motors use a skewed 5-slot armature design and bonded neodymium iron boron magnets and are said to provide more power than most other dc motors of similar size.

They can achieve maximum peak torques up to 10.2 oz in. and speeds up
to 8550 RPM. Motors are available in three lengths (1.256, 1.556 and
1.901 in.), which includes the newest longer model providing up to 40%
more continuous torque (up to 2 oz in.) compared with shorter 22
mm-diameter products. Modular motor design enables customization with
cables, shaft-mounted pulleys and gears, ball bearings, multiple
windings, optical encoders, planetary gearheads, and other component
options.
