BBA, a Québec-based consulting engineering firm with more than 400 employees, opened of a new office in downtown Vancouver. Prior to opening the western office, the company completed several major projects, including mandates for electric sub-stations, infrastructure and equipment management and maintenance plans (electric networks, dams, hydro-electric stations) as well as increasing the power of turbogenerator units.

This new office will enable us to serve our clients better in Western Canada, and will prove an excellent business development lever for the company," declared BBA President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Steeve Fiset.

BBA is celebrating its 30th year of existence this year, and has grown substantially over the past decade. In 2008, it ranked among Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies according to a selection made by the firm Deloitte and CIBC. In the same year, BBA also won first prize in the medium-sized business category in the Défi Meilleurs Employeurs contest organized by the firm Watson Wyatt.
