Fluid Power hydraulics pneumatics R&D

The Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power has redesigned its website to make navigation easier and intuitive with both members and the general public in mind.

The Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power (CCEFP), a research network headquartered at the University of Minnesota, has redesigned its website to make navigation easier and intuitive with both members and the general public in mind.

The centre, established in June 2006, is a network of researchers, educators, students and industry members working together to transform the fluid power industry—how it is researched, applied and studied. Center research is creating hydraulic and pneumatic technology that is compact, efficient and effective; and its education and outreach program is designed to transfer this knowledge to diverse audiences—students of all ages, users of fluid power and the general public.

A revised layout makes finding information about the centre’s research and initiatives even easier, and it’s also adopted a cleaner design and added animation to the home page and testbed pages for some extra punch.

After creating a new account, current members have access to a discussion forum, a downloads section where regularly used files and templates will be available, and an archive of a popular and informative webcast series.
