FOUR-CYLINDER, TURBOCHARGED ENGINE

Perkins Engines has announced its most powerful engine in the 400 Series range. The 404D-22TA – a 2.2 litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged unit with air charge cooling – produces 49.2 kW (66 bhp) at 2800 rpm from a package size of 0.25 m3, an 8% uprate compared to the 404D-22T model.
