Geared motors help drive production in steel rolling mills

The German drive technology manufacturer NORD Drivesystems has recently been very active in the steel industry in China and India. NORD has supplied 2500 geared motors to the Shanghai Baosteel Group Corp. for a heavy plate mill in Shanghai’s Pudong area that produces sheets for the ship building industry.
