Hennig, Inc. proudly announces the opening of its new location in Rockford, Illinois for the design, engineering and fabrication of enclosures for the power generator and other heavy-duty OEM markets.

This new building is a supplementary site to the company’s main facility in Machesney Park, Illinois, where Hennig will continue to utilize its laser cutting, waterjet cutting, powder/paint coating line, metal bending machinery and other primary manufacturing equipment to produce the enclosure sections. These sections will then undergo final assembly with fuel tanks, when applicable, and the OEM generators, at the new facility.

This new Hennig Enclosure Systems facility occupies nearly 30,000 sq. ft. of plant area and is located at 2112 12th Street in Rockford, Illinios, near a number of interstates and the intermodal shipping facility in Rochelle, Illinois.

As the company’s marketing director, Greg Champion, explains, “This expansion to a new and dedicated facility will allow us to maintain the highest quality levels on these critical power generator enclosures, as well as other strategic enclosure business we seek. Just as important, it will enable us to remain ahead of the competition with streamlined efficiencies, resulting in faster delivery times. As a collateral benefit, our machine tool enclosure business will also realize improved turn times.” Hennig is a world leader in chip conveyors, as well as way covers, bellows and other machine tool protection devices.
