Fluid Power control valve Rexroth

Rexroth sets new record for energy efficient load-sensing control valves.

Rexroth introduced its ML-18, an energy efficient pressure compensated load-sensing control valve. The ML-18 design was focused on reducing power consumption on new TIER 4 applications such as skid steers, small wheel loaders and material handlers. In applications requiring up to 40 gpm (151 lpm) at 4,000 psi (276 bar), the ML-18 can reduce pressure drops as much as 50 percent versus the competitors, the company says.

The valve’s monoblock design reduces the interface restrictions between sections. In addition, it features a dedicated tank coring for the highest flow section and uses backpressure valving for forced flow regenerating. The ML-18 architecture was developed so OEMs could choose electro-hydraulic as well as pilot operation for spool modulation.
