Inductive Sensor

Baumer introduced its IPRM 12, an inductive sensor which measures with a resolution of 50 nanometers. IPRM 12 has a measuring speed of 1 mm/s and features an amplifier integrated in a M12 housing. The 12mm X 90 mm cylindrical housing contains the measuring head, signal evaluation, amplification, as well as the analog output circuit. The 0 … 20 mA current output is compatible with standard analog-cards and cables. The sensor’s circuitry allows it to remain temperature stable, while the metal housing and protection class IP 67 provide high reliability.
