The Magnaflux EV6000 is being introduced to aerospace and other NDT industries, enabling quicker and easier flaw identification via fluorescent illumination. The specially designed LED array of the EV6000 UV lamp casts a 9-inch (23 cm) round spot at a 15-inch (38 cm) distance from the testing surface, which is double the beam width of other aerospace-rated lamps. The EV6000’s LED array is designed to cast uniformly bright illumination, and the stable intensity of the LEDs meets the ASTM E3022 and Rolls-Royce RRES90061 standards. New industry standards for LED inspection lamps were finalized last autumn, and the EV6000 meets these recent benchmarks. The EV6000 features the industry’s widest LED beam width, and the lightweight and compact housing features user-replaceable front shield and UV filter.
