WEG Electric Corp. introduced its CWC series miniature contactors. The compact contactors provide up to a 22A current rating, AC-3 utilization category, for motors up to a powerful 15 hp at 460V. Dimensions of the 7A to 16A contactors are the same for AC or DC coil voltages. DC models feature low consumption coils allowing operation directly from a PLC without interface relays. Available in three-pole and four-pole models, contactors are 35mm DIN-rail mountable and feature IP20-rated housings, self-lifting pressure plates and coil voltage indication. Available accessories include front mounting auxiliary contact blocks, surge suppressors, electronic timing relays, wiring kits, mechanical interlock and latch blocks and a selection of overload relays.
