Safety Controller

OMRON Automation and Safety introduced its NX Series Safety Controllers series which combine automation and safety on the same EtherCAT network in a mixed I/O backplane. Compatible with the open protocol Safety over EtherCAT (FsoE), the NX Safety Controller and the distributed Safety I/O can be freely placed in the EtherCAT network. Sysmac integrated safety is suitable for applications meeting Performance level (PLe) according to the ISO-13849-1 and SIL3 according to IEC61508. Sysmac integrated safety conforms to programming standard IEC-61131-3, and includes certified PLCopen Safety Function Blocks.
