PTDA 2015 Canadian Conference open for registration

Networking opportunities abound at the PTDA Canadian Conference, the association says. Starting with an optional Harbor Cruise and a golf outing, participants have many opportunities to meet channel partners—both new and established—in comfortable settings like the Welcome Reception Industry Showcase, featuring tabletop exhibits from PTDA’s manufacturer members. New this year, scheduled meetings round out prime organized business networking opportunities.
 
Along with networking, business market-driven education takes center stage. On June 5, 2015, participants will be served up hard-hitting business facts by a line-up of business speakers including Jock Finlayson, executive vice president and chief policy officer, for the Business Council of British Columbia; Ron Monk, MEng, Peng, district energy system practice leader of hydro-consultancy Kerr Wood Leidal (KWL), and others who will deliver market updates on the mining and manufacturing industries. Completing the day’s learning is Todd Snelgrove, a noted expert on total cost of ownership selling solutions.

In addition to high profile Canadian business topics, participants will be served up a bit of entertainment and fun, a key goal of PTDA’s 2015 board of director’s president Ajay Bajaj of Woodbridge, Ontario-based Rotator Products Limited. Entertainer Arthur Black, one of Canada’s leading personalities of radio and television delivers belly laughs for the closing event.
 
PTDA is a member-driven organization led by volunteers who work with their peers in the industry to develop relevant and timely content and programming. Using the expertise of several of the industry’s top executives, the programming for the Canadian Conference is specifically designed for those who sell and manufacture PT/MC products in Canada. With new sessions each year, the conference goal is to inform and educate with relevant and timely material.
 
In 2014, more than 200 distributors and manufacturers attended the PTDA Canadian Conference. A discounted registration rate is in effect until May 1, 2015.
