Mirabel, QC — Online robot retailer, RobotShop.com, announced it has been named one of PROFIT Magazine’s 200 Fastest-Growing Companies in Canada. Coming in at number 63, RobotShop has grown 843 percent in the last five years. According to the annual listing, the 18-employee company showed revenue of $6,570,631.
Billing itself as the “Amazon of Robotics”, the Mirabel, Quebec-based site carries more than 5,000 domestic and professional devices, ranging from simple robotic toys up to research vehicle priced at more than $30,000. It also provides development platforms, kits, and specialized robotic parts. Most recently, the company recently developed a companion site for robots, MyRobots.com, where owners can monitor and control their machines via Wi-Fi.
