SELF-CLINCHING FLUSH-HEAD STUDS

PEM Type FH4 self-clinching flush-head studs from PennEngineering can be installed permanently in stainless steel sheets as thin as .040 in./1 mm. The stud are said to provide reliable and reusable threads in stainless assemblies with only a mating nut required to complete final component attachment. Offering an practical alternative to weld studs, the studs are machined from 400 series stainless steel and are heat-treated for use in sheet hardness of 92 or less on the Rockwell "B" scale.
