Siemens launches Ruggedcom RX1400 cellular router

Siemens Ruggedcom RX1400 is a multiprotocol intelligent node which combines Ethernet switching, routing, VPN, and firewall functionality with various WAN connectivity options.  The device operates continuously within a -40° to 85°C temperature range using a fanless design and is equipped with a rugged metal housing that supports DIN rail, panel, or rack mounting.

The Ruggedcom RX1400 is said to offer a rugged, highly capable solution at an entry level price for any scale of implementation. Its compact form factor allows installation in existing cabinets, while the advanced cyber security and networking functionality make it ideally suited for mission-critical applications.
