Vijay Sumar, professor, School of Engineering & Applied Sciences, University of Pennsylvania, presented his keynote at SolidWorks World 2013 on research work in the field of quadcopter technology. Using quadrotors, the unmanned autonomous vehicles (UAVs) weigh from 75 g up to a couple of kilograms. On the 50th anniversary of the James Bond movie franchise, Sumar and his students demonstrated just how sophisticated the UAVs can be as they cooperated to perform the iconic film theme soundtrack.
