White Light 3D Scanner

Quebec manufacturer, Creaform, announced its latest 3D scanner model, the Go!SCAN 3D, which the company bills as the “fastest and easiest 3D scanner on the market.” The scanner’s features include point-and-shoot scanning with no preparation setup required. In addition to working in conjunction with applied targets, the Go!SCAN features hybrid positioning that allows the scanner to create geometry from reflected white light. According to the company, the handheld unit weighs 1.1 kg, provides accuracy is up to 0.1 mm and is 10 times faster than standard 3D scanners. Like other scanners in Creaform’s lineup, the Go!SCAN also features dynamic referencing which allows pats to be moved during scanning.
