The Pneumatic Division of Parker Hannifin has introduced a IP65-rated industrial in-line valve series specifically designed for use in operating conditions of -40° to 70°C, with a maximum pressure of 16 bar.
Traditional solenoid valves typically use either an O-ring or lip seals between the valve spool and body. The Viking Xtreme’s aluminum spool, with a specially engineered over-molded rubber, is said to eliminate the problems of seals deforming or extruding under conditions of high pressure or flow.
The Viking Xtreme is available in three versions Рsolenoid operated, remote air pilot, and manually actuated. A choice of 1/8, 1/4, 3/8 and ½ in. port sizes is available.
