Ameresco Canada to acquire Byrne Engineering

Ameresco Canada Inc (Ameresco), an independently-held energy service company, announced the purchase of Byrne Engineering, an independent consulting engineering firm specializing in mechanical, electrical and structural engineering. Byrne projects include mining/mineral processing, manufacturing/production, transportation, energy, industrial automation, construction/renovation/rehabilitation, pressure vessel registrations and design/build modifications.
Ameresco says the purchase of Byrne is part of its business plan to grow its engineering consulting division.
