Axis Prototypes creates architectural model of telescope

Axis Prototypes (www.axisproto.com) of Saint-Laurent, QC, has created a 1:144 scale model of the Thirty Meter Telescope project (www.tmt.org) for the Association of Canadian Universities for Research in Astronomy (ACURA). This model is one of Canada’s contributions to TMT, an international partnership involving ACURA, The California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and the University of California and with participation from the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (DPN cover story, May 2009).
