General DPNBaldor Electric Company has added the Baldor•Dodge Ultra Kleen Tigear-2 to its washdown enclosed gear reducer products.
The unit is said to showcase an all-new sanitary design sealed against high pressure, high temperature and caustic washdown environments. Input ratings up to 5 hp are available in five case sizes for optimized performance.
All Ultra Kleen reducers are manufactured with premium stainless steel housings, are available with solid or hollow output shafts and are factory-filled with H1 food grade synthetic lubrication.
The reducers are protected by a two-piece harsh duty output sealing system that includes an axial sealing lip for superior wear and contamination exclusion, and a rounded housing to prevent water pooling.
With the most advanced designs of washdown gear reducers available, Baldor•Dodge offers the only line of stainless steel gear reducers that can actually lower the total cost of ownership, the company says.
