EUROCOM Panther series adds NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580M SLI to its killer package.

Canadian mobile workstation maker, Eurocom Corporation, has added the new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580M graphics processing unit (GPU) – in either single and dual (SLI) configurations — to the available graphics options of its upgradable Panther laptop series.

The EUROCOM Panther is designed specifically for design professionals and digital content creators and the company bills it as the “world’s most powerful laptop”. Given the specs, its hard to argue. The machine has capacity for up to 3.25 terabytes of storage on four physical drives, allowing for RAID 0/1/5/10 configurations.

It can also be configured to house Intel’s 3.46GHz Intel Core i7 Processor Extreme Edition (I7-990X) or 3.46GHz Xeon X5690 processors running at 6.4GT/sec bus speed with 12MB L3 cache. Other perqs include Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, eSATA, and DVI ports, with a 17.3-inch 1080p HD display, and support for a full size keyboard.

In addition to the NVIDIA GeForce and AMD Radeon lines of GPUs, the Panther can also be configured with professional level graphics cards including NVIDIA’s Quadro 5010M; Quadro FX 3800M, Quadro FX 2800M.
