CONSTANT TORQUE DRIVE, MOTOR

General DPN

Constant torque applications require motors that can continuously produce full load torque at low speeds, according to V.J. Pamensky Canada Inc. The company adds that conventional methods of over sizing the motor or adding a blower can be replaced by using a standard WEG motor and WEG CFW09 drive. A NEMA Premium Efficiency TEFC WEB motor can provide a 1000:1 speed range with the CFW09 inverter. WEG motors include a 1.25 service factor up to 100 hp (1.15 >100 hp) as standard.
