Creaform expands its engineering division

Creaform’s engineering division is undergoing a major expansion. This decision is due to increasing demand for its expertise in a wide array of fields, including design, engineering and simulation.

The Engineering division has seen substantial and consistent growth, year over year. In the past 15 months, Creaform Engineering has created 50 new job positions, expanding its workforce by 42%. The company set up new offices in California, started operations in India, and opened a testing/prototyping facility in Montreal area. Creaform Engineering is continuously investing in new value-added skills to its offer, such as automation, electronics and software development.

According to David Gagné, Division Vice-President, Engineering and Metrology Services at Creaform, this new division will offer customers a unique breadth of expertise  “For one, we can quickly accommodate customers for pressing needs and offer different skill levels and skill sets to meet very precise project and market requirements,” he explains. “Our clients benefit from our team’s practical field experience, seasoned track record in a variety of domains, and an agility that is simply second to none for their product development and manufacturing support activities. Creaform Engineering can now rely on more than 175 engineers and technicians to support its customer base.”

Creaform Engineering is currently looking to fulfill several positions, including mechanical and electrical engineers and technicians, automation experts and FEA engineers to staff its worldwide offices based in Canada, the United States, Europe and India.
