DraftSight Crash Course
Online video training provides quick-start manual for its free 2D CAD tool.
If you’re a fan of Dassault System’s free DWG creating, editing and viewing application, DraftSight, the company recently published a video based digital edition of its Master Series.
Of course, DS would like to ween you off your AutoCAD addiction but even if you can’t kick the habit, a free cross-platform (windows, mac, linux) desktop tool that doesn’t require an Internet connection can always come in handy.
The videos featured cover everything from basic GUI layout and menu customization to how to optimize your workspace, a mouse gestures overview and basic command functions. Check out the complete Master Series digital publication here.
You can download the applications from Dassault’s web site.
