DPN WEB EXCLUSIVE: Rogers Corp. has added an EL module to its Durel line of EL driver products. The stand-alone EL driver module combines all external, discrete components required to backlight monochrome displays and keypads into a single chip.
The 5 x 7 mm D355B driver has a power inductor imbedded inside the
module. It operates with a 1.0 to 7.0 Vdc input voltage range. The
leadless integrated module uses a patented three-port topology for
reduction of audible and electrical noise. It also features internally
controlled current discharge for built-in EMI shielding.
