KWP heavy duty non-clogging pumps from KSB are designed to handle challenging solids-laden liquids encountered in the energy, pulp and paper, chemical, and the food processing industries. Features aimed at simplifying maintenance include replaceable wear plates and a back pullout design, which makes it possible to overhaul pumps without disconnecting the pump casing from the piping.

The regular KWP line of horizontal, radially split volute casing single-stage pumps comes in scaleable sizes with discharge diameters ranging from 40 mm to 250 mm. These standard pumps are capable of delivering outputs up to 1,300 m3/h (5,700 gpm), with heads up to 100 m. Supplementary models are available with a maximum discharge size of 900 mm and an output capacity of up to 12,000 m3/h. The larger KWP pumps offer a free passage of 200 mm. There are three impeller options available: a highly-efficient closed impeller, a multi-vane open impeller for fluids with higher solids content and a free-flow impeller for slurries with up to 5 percent (by weight) of solids.
