KSB extends range of Etabloc series pumps

Etabloc close-coupled single-stage centrifugal pumps feature high-efficiency hydraulics for reduced operating costs and an extremely compact design that makes them easy to fit into tight situations.

They are well-adapted for use in a wide range of applications, including irrigation, drainage and water supply systems, cooling water supply, HVAC systems and fire-fighting equipment. With appropriate material choices, they can be used to pump anything from drinking water to seawater, brackish water, oil or cleaning agents.

Etabloc pumps are available in a wide range of sizes, with capacities up to 715 cubic metres per hour and heads up to 144 metres. They can be ordered with 2-, 4- or 6-pole motors. {nomultithumb}

This wide choice of sizes, running speeds and capacities means that it is usually possible for users to select a pump with a best efficiency point (BEP) very close to their required duty point, the company says.

Impeller trimming and variable frequency drives can be used to fine-tune performance for optimal efficiency. Total lifetime cost is also reduced by carefully thought-out design features that ensure smooth running and simplify routine maintenance operations.
