CI Lumen Industries has announced patent-pending LED backlighting for a variety of display panels. The backlighting was developed for panels requiring brightness levels of 800 nits or more – a requirement for outdoor viewing, in particular. The backlighting is suitable for panels produced by a broad spectrum of manufacturers, ranging in size from 5 to 19 in. and hibrighted to 800 to 1300 nits at low power levels.
