AC Drive

Danfoss unveiled its VACON 20, an AC drive line available in all common voltages (110-600V) and a power range up to 18.5kW/25 hp. The drive features a built-in RS-485 interface. With optional modules, the VACON 20 can be connected to most communication system including CANOpen, Fieldbus, DeviceNet and Profibus DP. The line also features easy access terminals, built-in DIN rail mounting and a MCA parameter-copying tool. Other technical features include built-in PLC functionality based on IEC61131-3; full I/O + option support; and a built-in EMC filter.
