Brushless DC Motor

PITTMAN Motors introduced its EC042B brushless DC motor series, a high torque density model designed as an economical, general purpose servo motor. The motor features a Nema 17 mounting configuration and is available in three motor lengths with a continuous torque range of 11 Ncm – 31 Ncm and a peak torque range of 35 Ncm – 99 Ncm. It has a maximum speed of 9000 rpm and can be used with DC bus voltages up to 96 volts. There are 8 standard winding variations but custom windings are also available. Its motor construction features a 4-pole rotor with rare earth magnets and the stator assembly is designed with low-loss materials for higher-speed applications. The motor shaft is supported by shielded ball bearings that are preloaded for low vibration and quiet operation.
