POSITAL has expanded its line of kit-style encoders for servo and step motors by utilizing a mounting form factor similar to US Digital incremental encoders. This makes it easy to upgrade motion control applications from incremental to absolute position control. Powered by Wiegard energy harvesting technology, the multiturn absolute kit encoders provide a robust closed-loop encoder solution. This enables encoders to maintain absolute position over power cycles and rotation during power-off conditions. With 17 bits of single turn resolution and 16 bits of multiturn range, POSITAL expanded kit encoders are ideal for position control applications.
