Danfoss valve for H1B bent-axis motor designed to expand motor’s use in open-circuit systems.

Danfoss Power Solutions has introduced its DN32 counterbalance valve specifically designed for its H1B bent-axis motor so OEMs can harness the motor for high-power drivetrain and winching applications. According to the company, the H1B reduces pressure drop and features integrated pressure relief valves. The valve also offers a broad range of options to optimize performance through damping and overall behavior of the main spool, the company says, as well as an optional charge port for external charging or system heat-up. The DN32 valve is available in two versions, fits H1B motors with displacements ranging from 160 to 250 cubic centimeters. A DN25 valve, to be introduced in 2023, will fit H1B motors with displacements ranging from 80 to 110 cc.
