Galil Motion Control’s RIO-574x0 line features numerous digital and analog inputs and outputs.

15-Galil-EtherCAT-controller-360Galil Motion Control released the RIO-574×0, an EtherCAT slave I/O controller. All RIO-574×0 have 16 opto-isolated digital inputs and 16 high-power (500mA sourcing) opto-isolated digital outputs. The RIO-57420 also includes eight analog inputs (4-20mA option available) and eight analog outputs, both configurable in the ranges of 0-5V, 0-10V, ±5V or ±10V (12-bit standard, 16-bit option available). All I/O are accessible via screw terminals. LED indicators are provided for all digital I/O points. Designed to be a compact solution, the RIO-574×0’s dimensions are 4.24 x 4.81 x 2.35 inches. It can be configured over USB using Galil’s software with English-like two-letter commands.
