Goniometer

Optimal Engineering Systems (OES) has added four goniometers to its catalog of positioning stages. The line feature worm gears with a 400:1 ratio and pre-loaded cross roller guides that offer +/- 30 degrees of travel with 30 kg of load. The series offers four motor options. The -01 option (pictured) incorporates a stepper motor, while the -02 option features a three phase-servo motor with a quadrature optical encoder. The -03 version offers a DC servo motor with a quadrature optical encoder, and the -04 option is stepper motor driven with quadrature optical encoders. The stage series offers a 160mm x 160mm table. The center of rotation is 136mm above the surface of the table and the radius of rotation is 203mm.
