Pepperl+Fuchs’ ENI58PL configurable incremental rotary encoder offers efficiency for a wide range of applications.

Pepperl+Fuchs released its ENI58PL series of incremental rotary encoders which features IO-Link for custom configuration. The line also offers a variety of shaft, flange and output options. The incremental rotary encoder can be configured via Pepperl+Fuchs SmartBridge and app, IO-Link master or offline via PACTware. Existing hardware and software can be used to define a number of parameters. For example, voltage output level can be set for short and long cable lengths with high or low frequencies each (HTL or TTL). Also, counting direction can be adapted to the application and pulse count per rotation can reach from 1 to 16,384 pulses per rotation. Additionally, the ENI58PL features an extended temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C, IP65/67 protection, and resistance against shock and vibration.
