Moxa Inc. introduced its EDR-G9010 Series, all-in-one firewall/NAT/VPN/switch/router line designed for industrial networks. The series offers 8-port TX GbE and 2-port SFP GbE along with deep packet inspection (DPI) for Modbus TCP/UDP and DNP3 traffic and an embedded IPsec VPN. The routers are certified for IEC 61850-3/IEEE 1613, NEMA TS2, ATEX Zone 2, and Class I Division 2. It also offers redundancy mechanisms, including Turbo Ring and VRRP. The -T model in the line offers an operating temperature range from -40 to 75°C. The Series is also compatible with Moxa’s MXview network management software, with which users can view the unit’s security parameters and the network’s performance as well as perform regular configurations backups.
