SMAC Moving Coil Actuators launched its LDL Programmable Electric Linear Actuator as an electric alternative to pneumatic components. The actuator features a stroke 10 to 100mm and a peak force 90N (48VDC). Fully programmable in force, position and velocity, LDL actuator comes with an encoder resolution of 5µm in its standard form or as a 1µm option. The line also includes the company’s patented ‘Soft-Land’ technology, which provides accurate sensing of product location or dimensions.
