NEMA 4X Connector

Wieland Electric unveiled its revos BASIC M Connector series designed to withstand the harshest environmental conditions, the company says. The series Viton housing seals provide NEMA 4X environmental protection protecting against stresses such as vibration, penetrating moisture or corrosion. The locking clips are made of stainless steel and coated with heat-resistant, thermoplastic polymer and include steel rollers. The revos BASIC M is suitable for temperatures ranging from -40°C to 120°C and is available in sizes 6, 10, 16 and 24. As an option, bases are available with a hinged aluminium cover to protect the connector inserts when not in use, preventing damage and failure in the field. The housing is compatible with Wieland’s range of revos multipole inserts for size 6 to 24.
