Photoelectric Sensors

Carlo Gavazzi launched its next generation PA18 Series photoelectric sensors that feature a reduction in overall length of 40 percent from the previous series; a new radial housing option; a robust housing design that meets IP67, IP69K and ECOLAB certification. In addition, they can withstand high temperatures (80°C/176°F) and high pressure (1450 psi/100bar) when being cleaned.

Sensing ranges are increased up to 150 percent from the previous generation. Sensing modes include diffuse (1m sensing range), retro-reflective (6.5m sensing range), polarized retro-reflective (5m sensing range), and through-beam (20m sensing range).

The series new microprocessor provides higher switching speeds than previous models, advanced filtering and detection, as well as the ability to offer more customized solutions for every application.

The new generation PA18 Series also offers both cable and plug versions; laser markings instead of labels; and a mounting adapter that allows for smooth flush mounting with only one jam nut.
