Pinch Valve

Clippard introduced its NPP series of 2-Way pneumatic pinch valves. The air-piloted devices have no areas of dead volume where fluid can become trapped unlike other valve types which may trap trace fluids. The valve series offers Normally-Open or Normally-Closed styles. They can handle whole blood and particulate matter and, since they don’t come in contact with fluid, they offer an unobstructed flow path and don’t have to be cleaned. Each valve comes with 12 inches of selected tubing but a variety of other tubing sizes and materials are available.
