ABB has expanded its line of MPR power supplies with the addition of a DC-input version. Both the AC-input and DC-input power supplies feature 9-by-2.15-by-1.57-inch form factors and are interchangeable. The MPR products achieve power densities of 23W/inch3 and energy efficiencies of up to 94 percent at 50 percent load, achieving an 80 PLUS Platinum grade. The MPR0712TE (AC-input version) features a front 90-to-264-volt AC input, rear +12-volt DC output, and a 700W output power. The MPR0712DC (DC-input version) allows for a front -44 to -72-volt DC input and a rear +12-volt DC output with a 700W output power. Both the AC and DC versions can operate a temperature range of -5 C to 50 C.
