HEIDENHAIN launched its ADS Uptime, a next generation rotary encoder condition monitoring system from its brand Leine & Linde. Encoders with built-in ADS Uptime enable system monitoring of the most relevant data from rotary installations and motors. The solutions simplify the move from preventive maintenance to the practice of proactive maintenance, the company says, and also feature wireless service check-up via Bluetooth. The wireless service check-up simplifies encoder maintenance, drives system management, production planning and operation.
