Beckhoff Automation released its AM8000 servo motor series, which combines the power and feedback system into one standard motor cable. Through the single cable, the motor’s encoder data, rotor position, multi-turn information and the status of the thermal conditions are transmitted without interference via a digital interface.

The AM8000 series encompasses six different motor sizes, each with two or three optional overall lengths. The line encompasses stall torque range of 0.9 to 65 Nm. In addition, the motor line features modern salient pole winding technology, small end turns and a fully encapsulated stator.
