Slurry Pump

KSB introduced its heavy-duty KWPK series pumps, designed to handle slurries and aggressive fluids. The KWPK family is based on a modular design so that individual pumps can be customized to meet specific application requirements. Five standard material combinations are available, each with different characteristics with respect to corrosion resistance and wear resistance and cost. Seals and bearings have been designed to withstand the effects of corrosive or abrasive media. This series of pumps feature KSB’s K-type non-clogging impeller design and are available in a range of sizes, with inlet diameters from 40 mm to 900 mm. Maximum flow rate is 15,000 m3/hour, while the discharge head is up to 100 m.
