AMETEK Haydon Kerk Pittman introduced its 43000 Max Series, a line of size 17 single- and double-stack hybrid linear actuators. Based on the company’s hybrid 43000 motor, the series delivers up to a 30% performance enhancement over its predecessor, the company says. Available in captive, non-captive, and external linear designs, the upgraded single- and double-stack actuators offer resolutions from 0.00006 inch (0.001524mm) per step to 0.00192 inch (0.048768mm) per step. It’s also capable of thrust of up to 50 pounds (222N) for single-stack and 75 pounds (337N) for double-stack. The series’ speeds exceed 3 inches (7.62cm) per second for single-stack and 7 inches (17.8cm) per second for double-stack
