Additive Manufacturing 3D printer metal TRUMPF

The TRUMPF TruPrint 1000 can generate parts that are a maximum of 100 mm in diameter and 100 mm tall.

TRUMPF TruPrint 1000The TRUMPF TruPrint 1000 is a compact machine for the production of small metal components by powder-bed-based laser melting, which is also called “laser metal fusion”. Starting from metal powder and laser light, it is able to quickly produce components of virtually any geometric shape. Even complex shapes can be transformed simply from the CAD design into a real, top-quality component. This system is able to print with stainless steel, tool steel, cobalt-chromium, aluminum, nickel-base alloy, optional packages enable printing of titanium, precious metals and  bronze. The TruPrint 1000  is able to coordinate powder coatings and laser exposures in a partly parallel fashion.  The compact model appeals to both novices and those experienced in using this technology. It can generate parts that are a maximum of 100 millimeters in diameter and 100 millimeters tall. The user interface, optimized for simplified touch screen control, steps the operator intuitively through the individual phases in the process. All the components are integrated into the compact housing of the TruPrint 1000: the laser, optics, process enclosure, filter unit and control cabinet.
