General power supply WAGOWago EPSITRON family integrates UPS and controller in one component.
WAGO has expanded its EPSITRON family to include a power supply with integrated UPS controller. The compact 787-1675 combines two core functions – a standard single-phase power supply with an uninterruptable power supply (UPS) controller – into one unit. EPSITRON UPS products offer battery status and extended battery life utilizing temperature compensation and battery control. WAGO also offers free software for configuration and monitoring. Additionally, a built-in serial port allows connection to the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM, or another PLC, for remote monitoring.
The power supply accepts a range of 85V to 264V AC input and provides backup battery power to loads up to 5 amps at 24V DC. The unit supplies the 24V DC necessary for electrical machines and automation systems along with back-up power from the UPS, preventing unpredictable shut-downs due to power outages or power dips. Furthermore, the 787-1675 has an operating temperature for a wide variety of applications at -25°C to +70°C and is 89 percent efficient.
