UV Inkjet 3D Printer

Mimaki launched its full-colour 3DUJ-2207 UV Inkjet 3D printer capable of producing more than 10 million colours. Commercially available worldwide in January 2021, the printer features a 203x203x76mm build space, water-soluble support materials and the company’s clear resin, which can be utilized alone or mixed with colours to achieve varying levels of transparency.

The printer’s single UV-LED curing lamp is capable of producing parts with 30 micron layer thickness and a 1200 by 1200 DPI resolution. The system also supports clear ink for transparent and translucent effects as well as high-opacity white for accurate color reproduction. According to the company, the printer is suit to office environments due to its compact size, quiet performance and optional deodoriser.
