Zero-Backlash Gear

Harmonic Drive LLC added its CSF-2UP, an ultra-flat, zero-backlash gear unit to the company’s CSF mini-series product line.The high-torque units feature a large cross-roller bearing with high-moment stiffness and are ideally suited for robots or manipulators requiring an ultra-compact solution. Gear Ratios of 30:1, 50:1, and 100:1 are available in each size. Motor mounting adapters are also available to match the designer’s choice of motor.
